Bundeswehr im REFORGER

The REFORGER exercises were the most demanding training missions of NATO in the Cold War. Held between 1969 and 1993 they relied on the U.S. Army and combat units from the European armies, foremost the German Bundeswehr. This publication supplements our REFORGER Trilogy (American Special 3006, 3007 and 3008) with background information and photographs of the German units and vehicles involved.
