DANCON-ISAF Vehicles of the Danish ISAF Contingent in Afghanistan 2011

Danish forces have operated in the Helmand Province in southern Afghanistan as part of ISAF since 2006. In 2011 the Danish ISAF contingent DANCON ISAF numbered about 750 troops. Their mission in the Helmand Province is to assist the Afghan government in creating a safe and secure environment, to consult in the creation and training of the Afghan security forces and to further the reconstruction of the country. In numerous colour photos and comprehensive captions this publication shows the complete range of vehicles of the Danish Battle Group, including main battle tanks, armoured infantry fighting vehicles, trucks, patrol vehicles, engineer equipment and logistic vehicles.
